First Impression Extravaganza

A series of self-portraits in which I explore how first impressions are formed and how I am perceived by others.

Using makeup and face paint, I have created different versions of myself, based on the images and associations friends and family have of me when they see me for the first time without knowing me.

This series is a visual translation of identity, perception, and projection, and the tension between them.

A play between how I see myself and how I suspect others see me.
