For the reopening of Het Rariteiten Kabinet in The Hague, I captured a special day where craftsmanship, fascination with nature, and community came together.
Het Rariteiten Kabinet, founded in 2004, is a unique shop where the beauty of nature takes center stage, even after life. Through their work and vision, they share a deep appreciation for natural forms and stories that often remain invisible.
On October 11, 2025, owners Loek and David Dekkers reopened their shop at a new location. The day was dedicated to connection: friends, family, and those involved came together to celebrate this new step.
My role was to capture these moments using a documentary approach, focusing on the atmosphere, the people, and the details that enhance the story of this place.
The images are used to make the identity and story of Het Rariteiten Kabinet visible.
